Can someone please explain the "Big Arm Fix" again

I edited a few players equipment and want to keep the equipment but not the "Big Arms"... I don't know if it matters but I'm not using chise mode. Only CPU vs HUM and HUM vs HUM.

Easy... Say im editing Peyton Manning...

I change his facemask to Revo Normal but I also give him a visor. I then hit continue without saving go back into edit take away the visor, and again continue without saving then I go back into edit and just hit 'B' nothing else. Save and test out in practice mode. Always add some additional equipment (i used a visor in that case) and take it away.

I have had a problem with the sleeveless option. For Tarvaris Jackson in my Vikings game. When I play a game he wears sleeves (even if its in Miami and 80 degrees). But when I go to edit him to make him sleeveless it shows him as not wearing long sleeves. It's not that big of a deal to me. Is there anyway to fix it?
