oK, Im going to chime in here because back in 2005 I conducted extensive research on simming, etc. Not to confuse anyone but I took the avg stats (Every Stat you can think of) from the real NFL seasons from 2002-2004 and conducted numerous test (About a months worth). to try to match those numbers. I tried every imaginable coaches settings you can think of. The best setting I came up with to match the real NFL averages was Plus 8 pass, Plus 10 def pass, 50 injuries. These settings also worked for 2006 and 2007 versions. I've not attempted this task for this years version yet though. Feel free to give em a try and see what u think. I know the injuries are low but to produce the best stats that match the real NFL numbers, these have worked for me. During my testing there was no fix for the backup RBs getting carries, If you raise injuries to fix that your stats will be off plus the injuries wont be close to the actual ones in the NFL.

What stats does the +10 def pass affect?

I like to drop the starting HB off the depth chart for the 3rd down back in simmed games, doesn't help much but it gets a few carries to shift from HB1 to HB2...

Overall injuries will be low at 50, but it will keep QBs and WRs, on the field, which is affected by the higher injury slider number...

I cannot tell you exactly what the plus 10 effects but like I said I did extensive research and tested all kinds of different settings and these were the closest to the actual NFL Numbers, even the injuries were close to the actual NFL per week which are not listed below. Do any of you remember the madden matrix? just wandering couldn't find it.. but it was the holy grail to sim stats. Just my 2 cents.

No I don't...

I'm a huge fan of sm27's crew creating 'The Manifesto' for the '05 version...

That was the last year anything but the run / pass slider did anything, so it's been an 'incomplete' fix for the past three versions...

Do you remember who started the 'Matrix' thread?

Maybe that's the key to seaching for it...

I'd love to check it out...

Where do you change the RB slider? Do you have to go to each coach's page?
