Deflated Created Players

Anyone notice after you create a player (muscular) that if you go back and change your gear, the created player "deflates"? I have checked into it and notice that if you create a player, but never change your gear AFTER the creation screen, the player will be fine, but change gear after the creation screen, (in my case, I created a muscular running back) the player defaults back to a skinny player. For Superstar mode, after you create your player, he will always "deflate", there is no way around it.
