Here's a question: Where do you have your 360 placed? I have mine in a case under my TV. I'm starting to think that has something to do with it because I usually end up opening the the doors while playing with it for more than 20 minutes.

You gotta have your 360 in a place were it can catch some cool air. leaving it in a case is a bad idea because it will overheat. It also helps to have a fan nearby like what i have done.

exactly what he said, i have one of those fans on the back of my 360 and its laying down on a little like closet rack i got from walmart wit my cable box above it and my dvd player below it. another thing you should do if you already don't whenever your done playing ANY game on your 360, take it out. Don't leave the games in there overnight or for hours at a time unless your playing it. I used to have the freezing problem and then i got the ring of death. lucky for me the target round my way let me exchange it for another 360 and every since then i've been taking the games out when i'm done and got the fan, try it out...hope it works for you cause madden is mad funnn this year

I keep Madden in for a week and nothing happened. I always keep a game in the console.

I've dropped the resolution settings on the console down to 720p from 1080i...I've played a couple games after that change and it hasn't froze up....for the record, my box is standing vertical in a some what open air shelving unit with a fan blowing on the back of it...

I have had 3 Dirty Disk Errors since I had the game

Once the freeze happens a lot, expect the Red Ring O Death soon. My xbox shipped out in it's coffin today.

What happens if you leave a game in the 360? I didnt know about this one.
