Hi I'm also trying to get a 4.2X time in the 40 yard dash but I can only get between 4.43-4.46. I put my hand back at the start. I hit the zone at about the 30 yard line but I lose the zone at the 35 and I end with one of the 4.4 time. I concentrate on alternating the sticks down but can't stay in the zone long enough. Any Help will be appreciated.

Try to continue a fluid motion on the sticks. Once you get in the zone try to keep the same speed alternatingthe sticks. I've used Ocho and ran a 4.2 flat on all-pro. I have also ran a 4.21 with hester and a 4.21 with Ginn.

I did it 4.27. What helped me the most was I stood up while doing the drill. Standing helped me to control my controller better and I stayed in the zone. My time started to down I had a 4.34, 4.30, and 4.32 also I have this drill down thank you

do guys use your thumbs while doing the 40 yard dash? I use both index fingers I bend each finger on the top of each analog and just pull down. I have gotten 4.31 with Ginn and i think thats my best. Is this how everyone else does it?

I've had the exact same problem, Ive been in the zone like 40 times and I can never stay in it even though I'm doing the same thing!

I use my thumbs, I can get a nice rhythm with index, but I end up hitting the stick crooked alot of time so the guy trips.

Faizon, Work on your getting the rythm down first. Then Increase your speed. That helped me also.

How exactly do you all do the 40 well? I can't crack the 6 second mark, lol.
