i got an update today too and i was just playing madden about 2-3 days ago and didnt get an update. this appears to be new, but im not sure what it did either.

i played about a quarter and couldnt finish. this game just isnt doing it for me. so i couldnt tell you what it did or didnt do.

You know, I got on today, and I did not get an update. I was able to get the new rosters. I did get the first patch, but nothing since. I am not online and on Xbox Live all the time because I hook up using ethernet (didn't want to pay the money for Microsofts wireless adapter, so I hook up to my airport express when I need to get on, but I have to change the configuration because I normally use it for wireless music only... long story).

So I should have gotten a new update today if it was anything besides the first "patch". I bet any money the next patch will address some of the franchise issues, but not the CPU turnovers. I say that because they probably don't see it as a problem, like some people on this forum.

Wouldnt you think they would at least "announce" a patch that would fix any issues?

I downloaded the roster, no other updates or download. I started my Raiders/Eagles franchise and played the Eagles/Packers opener. The game didn't feel any different.
The game was fine, 7 total INTs (to be fair, I threw one at the end of the first half and game on heaves) and 2 fumbles total.
