I'd be interested in learning about players who have multiple weapons. Are you only able to utilize the one they are on any given play?

For example, sometimes LT might appear as a stiff arm back, and sometimes an elusive back.

Ok couple of things I wanted to debate with you all.

Do you find a Quick Receiver is better at shaking off coverage than a standard WR?????

Also Do you find a Shut Down Corner is anymore lock down than a standard DB. I have watched replay after replay and on DEFAULT madden sliders BOTH type of corners will cut EXACTLY, mirror image of the WR. I think sliders can be the only way to help this. I am interested trying Def- Awarenss to 0 and if that makes a difference how fast the two react.

Not that I've noticed. I ran 10-yard dig routes and out-routes in practice for about 30min minutes and I didn't see any difference between Bernard Berrian (quick WR) and Ronald Curry (no weapon).

The only advantage Berrian had was his speed, not his quickness.

You can pretty much ignore the weapons icon, any DB with good awareness and speed will be a solid corner whether he's a "weapon" or not...

My personal favorite weapons combination is the 'Cannon Arm' QB paired with a 'Deep Threat/Speed" WR... J****ssel to B.Berrian is money on the long-ball for me about twice a game (assuming my O-line can hold-up long enough )

What determines whether or not they get "shutdown" status? Which rating. All I know is that when Rasheen Mathis is on someone in man, they rarely catch the ball. Antoine Winfield? He gets beat occasionaly.

This 360 game is so screwed up, I bet you could replace all your DB's with LBs and they would cover them.

I don't know what attribute ratings are needed for a player to earn the "shutdown corner" rating; but I think it's safe to assume that it's related to AWR, AGI, ACC, and MCV (man coverage).

I'm wondering if others will agree that cornerbacks playing opposite to the "shutdown corner" seem to get picked on by the CPU even though that corner may be covering his man just as effectively as the "shutdown corner"...

Nnamdi Asomugha is my "shutdown corner" (92 AWR) and across from him I have Fabian Washington (80 AWR). When I watch the replays Fabian covers his WR just as good as Nnamdi covers his, yet the CPU picks on Fabian all game and avoids Nnamdi at all costs; I can only assume that's because Fabian doesn't have the "shutdown corner" weapon.

Which would lead me to believe that the "shutdown corner" doesn't necessarily cover his man better, it's just that the CPU is intimidated by a player with "shutdown corner" status, and therefore would rather not risk throwing in that direction...

...I'd bet having two shutdown corners would be heaven
