The best way in my testing of Madden is to raise the CPU QB ACC Slider and stay with the player that you pick from the snap of the ball. This has worked great 4 me.

Fixing DB reactions is good, but theres still too many INTs even in zone coverage.

I usually sim the first 2-3 seasons so I can get my draft picks, but I've played up to season 5 with absolutely no problems. You have to make sure you don't switch from cpu controlled to user controlled options, and if you do, you have to switch them back to cpu before switching coaches.

You can find all kinds of free agents during the offseason, its just that once the preseason starts... poof... so you better grab who you can while you can...

Re: New Madden Producer Blog (About patchs & updates)

Ian deals with game play issues and not franchise issues. There is another team that deal with franchise and online modes. I will gamefly Madden after this patch but with College hoops, Call of Duty 4, Mario, etc I won't have the time unless this patch is a major fix.

That is the most hilarious part of his blog....

AND

he didn't include the free agent-franchise freezing issue in the fixes.... If this isn't added by the time the patch comes out I am done with Madden.
Isn't this supposed to happen before the game is released?!?!?!?!?! Thereby not creating a need for a patch? It seems they 'work and test' the patches more than the game itself.

That was my point exactly! EA Sports is garbage...
