Are the Madden Strategy Guides actually worth buying?

I am just wondering if anyone has bought any Madden Strat Guides, are they worth purchasing? And what kinda strats are usually in it?

Do they put any glitch strats?

Completely pointless...Unless your looking for something to read while on the toilet...to fill that time...don't get one. I got one the last two yrs, and I hazed myself later for buying one. However, I did run out of toilet paper one day after eating Chipotle, and all those pages of Madden strat guide actually game in handy. Thanks Madden!

Unless you know absolutely nothing about football, and have never played Madden, I would say that the guides are prety useless.

Most of the users on this board would gain nothing from buying the guides.

For a casual player like myself looking to improve, I actually found them very useful. Not so much the franchise, but some of the explanations of the nuances between the different defenisive formations and rushes. I mean, yeah, I know the basic difference between a 4-4 and a Nickel, but when you are talking about when its better to call a 3-4 Normal opposed to a 3-4 Stack, the Madden Guide does come in handy.

Considering the game is useless, I would say the strategy guides are useless as well.

That's if you like to play franchise at least. God I want to ****ing kill someone at EA.

I laugh every time I see a next-gen player mention the less-than-acceptable state of their game this year, knowing us current-gen'ers are having a lot of fun playing a well done game and managing to survive without the jaw-dropping graphic-ness of the next gen.
