sim engine?

HI. I have a PS2 version on Madden. In the PS2 version the sim engine is very inaccurate and often running backs run for far too many yards and QB's fail to pass at accurate numbers. Does the next gen version of Madden use the same sim engine? Ex....Is Vince young one of the leagues top rushers, etc?

Re: sim engine?

Next gen has different problems. The biggest thing in my eyes is that in every simmed game the defensive player gets credit for 2 picks for every 1 pick they get. The QB gets the normal amount. It seemed that EA noticed the Ints so they made about half as many happen. Now the defensive player's Int numbers look right but you will end up having no QBs ever throw as many picks as TDs and the top guys every year will have a ridiculous TD/INT ratio. Other than that they are actually not bad. RB's get a little to much but you can actually mess with the RB1-RB2 slider and fix that. FBs still get to many carries in general but all in all it's close.
