The definition of glitch is:

1. A defect or malfunction in a machine or plan
2. Computers. An error, malfunction, or problem

I'd say it's a malfunction or problem. On previous games, when you pinched the lines, they completely lost contain responsibilities.

I've been through this before here. Several times actually.

Its not a glitch, but it IS an exploit. Being able to counter it does not cease to make it an exploit.
