madden 08 for the original xbox

I just picked this up yesterday and i have to say i am more than happy with it. Graphics not withstanding the gameplay is better than next-gen IMO. Just an example, first drive of the game i'm marching the Browns down the field. Its 3rd and goal on the 7 yard line and i have Lewis coming out of the backfield and Cribbs doing an out route both to the left. One D-back is standing in front of them. I lob the ball with Anderson and it floats right over the defenders head and into the hands of Josh Cribbs for the TD. It was so nice because i know that is either a knockdown or a pic 6 in next-gen madden.

I got it for the Xbox too. They messed up franchise though. I forgot how, but it took something out that was in last year.

actually with the patch and some sliders I have been able to throw some really nice lob type passes for the 360.

I have been playing the original xbox version as well, and love it. I cant think of anything, franchise-wise, that was in 07, that is not in 08 though.

Heh, I'm sticking with Madden 06. After that, the games didn't change enough to warrant me throwing down 30, 40, 50 bucks. Plus, I can go through multiple seasons in franchise and really build my team.

No Tony Bruno Show in 08 and I dont really miss it either.
