I to have fronted in the past including this year. For this game to be the way it has been on the next gen!?!?!?! I just left 360 for the ps3 and picked up madden only to see first hand what was confirmed (didn't believe that EA would be so blatent as to not make the game run at 60fps), the game sucks worse. Will purchase used at best......for any platform in '09.

Why would you not believe EA when they said that the PS3 version ran at 30fps?

No harm done since the game was returned. Guess I had to see it for myself. I'm sure the big muckety-mucks at EA are just rolling in their dough and having a good laugh at our expense. I just picked up the "other" game and would be very much into a complete version of their offering on the PS3 next season and wait until the experts on this forum dissect the would be madden '09.

You have got to be kidding. No way in hell would I pre order this again. I will wait till it goes down in price or do what I usually do trade for it on sell video games dot com and get it free. They have alot of work to do. I just wish we could go back to the glory days when opening up the madden package was something specil..It was the game...Oh well the good ole days..Never thought I would say that..my parents used to say those things, now I am saying them

Why do you guys preorder games? Did you ever go anywhere and they not have the game in? Superspecially ones like Madden.

Way too many things that need fixed, to make this game a 1st day purchase. I actually 'thought' it was a good game for almost a week this year. Then I realised that EA had robbed me again....

-No QB pocket, this (QB Pocket) has NEVER been in this series

-Below average AI

-No team tendacies/playstyles (every team seems to play alike)

-CPU QB's never throw deep passes

-Horrible Oline/Dline interaction animations

-Horrible tackle animations that were in Madden 98 are still in the game. Touch a ball carrier, and he goes flopping to the ground without even rapping him up for the tackle

-Terrible presentation, no chain gang, no FG nets etc.

These items will not be addressed again this year I bet. If they are, I'll give it a try. If not I can see myself waiting also this year.

If you want a midnight launch you have to preorder or you won't get a copy.
