draft problem ?

ok i finished my first season with the vikings i went to the super bowl lost to NE so i get the second to last pick in the draft every time i pick i then have to sim the NE pick because the clock doesnt start to go down not that big of a problem until the last pick when i sim there last pick it goes to rookie signing and turns me into the bears i cant switch back. i got around this by drafting my last player and exiting the draft then siming to rookie signing.
my ? is has anybody else had this problem and if so what happens when you win the superbowl and have the last pick? will it still screw up

I won the Super Bowl my first season with New England and did not have a problem.
