It seems like on traps and counters, the pulling guard more often than not does not block well. On those plays the RB cannot wait that long for blocks to develope because they are getting pursuit from the backside. It seems like the pulling guard can't decide on who to block instead of blocking the first defender coming through the hole. Has anyone notice that?

I noticed that but you can counter it by taking control of the pulling guard pre-play and lead blocking on the first defender. I've noticed my YPC has increased on the counter for that. And I take the FB on the trap.

I usually dont have too much pressure from backside defenders as much as I do run side LBs... Always blitzing through... I always control my run side T or G (depending on who has a DLman in front of him.

the addition of double teams helps the running game a little this year but to many interior lineman still swim off of the blocker WAY to easy. the o-line/d-line interaction needs a lot of work including this and a pocket on passing plays with DE's rushing outside
