Last gen Madden players...

That's awesome, thanks guys. I feel better about sticking with 08 now. I've just finished my NCAA 08 roster edits (finally), and I was really looking forward to importing my draft classes to it.

Madden 05 was great for a few reasons for me:
*The franchise was deep but not overly complicated.

*During the team introductions and end of quarters some of the cities had shots of actual bridges, statues, and other landmarks.

*If I am correct the hit stick was introduced.

*The Limited edition pack actually was worth the extra bucks, but I am not sure if they charged extra or just had a limited run of them.

*The gameplay was actually really fine tuned.

This was in Madden 05? I think you're thinking of 2K5.

I actually did not play 2K5 at that time, only Madden 05. I was caught very off guard by it as well. I will never forget because a buddy and I were playing Skins Vs Ravens. Then after the end of the first quarter the camera zoomed to the outside of the stadium and showed a bridge or road with cars driving. Another time it happened when I was playing with Pittsburgh.

Well maybe I was playing the other game. I will play a few games in Baltimore and Pittsburgh to double check. I am getting old.
