Maybe I'm mistaken, but I could swear there was a time when most here were dissatisfied with Madden. I didn't realize there were this many Madden fans on this site.

The game has already seen a dramatic drop in sales last year. They were down 13% last year.

While those people who aren't buying it might not be on this forum complaining, they are out there. There are a lot of older, sim oriented gamers who just don't bother with the franchise any longer. I think you'll find less and less people pre-ordering the game this year. There are still people out there who care about the quality of games.

Think about this. They have no competition. Football is the most popular sport in the U.S. and grows yearly. The number of consoles in homes have increased dramatically from 07 to 08. They put a massive advertising campaign out with the game. Still, with all that, sales dropped 13%. That is real bad if you're the folks at EA.

maybe we are non-critcal consumers. And maybe we are that way because we'd rather enjoy the game for what it offers instead of critiquing the game every time we play it.

You can say that I am whats wrong with EA and why you don't get the game you think you deserve and thats ok by me, because you know what? I am enjoying the game. And if thats a problem for you then well then, I am sorry I guess.

You can call me stupid, ignorant, a fanboy, the problem, or whatever you feel is necessary, but the fact remains that once this game hits shelves, well before then actually, I'll be in my chair with a Bud Light by my side enjoying the game. And you? Well, I guess you'll still be posting here telling me how I am the reason that once again, you didn't get the game you thought you deserved.
