I doubt. Just based on what i saw in that new clip posted today the line play has the SAME issues as it did in 08.

I really wish people could have the restraint to simply not buy madden for one year so the company could get a clue and actually fix **** instead of just keep giving us the same flaws year in, year out. I'm doing my part for 09 and hopefully others will follow...but I doubt they will.

EA needs to grasp we need more than bloody snow piles and footprints in snow.

probably not. I would be very much surprised. They seam to have difficulty getting that 2k feel of interaction between o and d lines

I wholeheartedly agree!!! It absolutely amazes me how excited people can get about "fluff features" like weapons, passing cone, build-a-fan, sell-a-hot dog, and other crap EA has added over the past few years when they really should be focusing on improving gameplay.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the improved presentation 09' appears to be getting, but if gameplay is similiar to what we had in 08' the game will be a total failure for me. I only get pleasure out of the fluff features if the gameplay itself is solid.

Same thing could be said of real football games. If the game itself is a dog (blowout or just bad football in general), the presentation is basically meaningless. So let's hope EA has tightened up the gameplay (no more excessive fumbles and ints, more realistic blocking, and accurate sim stats), then all that fancy presentation will be like the icing on top of the cake!
