Upgraded playbooks in Madden 09

i had read about this before 08 came out and the guy who does the playbooks said that it would be in the 09.

Good that they've added team specific defensive plays....

Doesnt it feel like every year they say they have updated the playbook. But damn if I can find more than a couple new plays.

There are only but SO many ways you can change a playbook. What they need to do (and excuse me if they have this) is just have user specific playbooks where u can create your own plays. and make the plays LOOK different. different colors, textures, something, geesh

Nahh there are a host of ways they can change the playbooks. This year we should see some big differences, especially defensively.

Well if you say so I believe you, but it seems like every year we hear the same line "updated playbooks" and it seems to be the same crappy playbooks every year.

After reading the Head Coach 09 blog, I'm really hoping that we see the playbooks and new schemes implemented from HC to Madden 09. That would be a major step forward, I want to see Pittsburgh play me smash mouth and New England spread out my D.
