If you were to watch the video before you post, it might make sense. The video with the early fumble was not in the snow. There are two separate videos.

Which is irrelevant. One fumble 3 minutes in to a game, does not mean the problem still exists.

Again, take a deep breath and relax. It's a video game, months away from release. Way to early to declare the sky is falling.

I was a fan of Madden until EA stopped caring about the fans and did not improve on their game play engine. The video just proves that they don't change the engine. Who cares about the crap they add to the game like flashing cameras. Make the game play better and then add all of the touchdown dances and other useless features.

Some people could watch a 5 hour video of the most incredible Madden gameplay ever and complain when it's over - 'yeah, well, there aren't any goal post nets so this game sucks.'

Am I convinced that 09 will fix the issues from last year - no. Am I willing pay attention to various reviews (esp here at OS) and then formulate my opinion in August as to whether to purchase the game - yes.

There is no way 1 video showing one fumble (or one of anything else for that matter) means that there will be 8 fumbles per game.

It was fixed later with a patch.
