Re: Do Your Non-Internet Friends Complain About Madden?

Most Madden gamers I know that are casual gamers love the game, and it kills me because thats the exact reason it never sees any REAL improvement IMO. They know the casual gamer will buy year after year after year no matter what. I know a kid who still thinks the first Madden 360 game is the best he has ever played (which was practically an unfinished tech demo). One of my friends from work thinks Madden 08 is the best Madden ever. So its apparent EA can screw this game to hell and still gain love by the blind.

No, all of my real life buddies love Madden and think it's great. There are def. a lot of things wrong with the game but I think coming to places like OS just make you more aware of stuff you'd normally not be bothered by. Perhaps ignorance is bliss eh?

Very true this is why I will stay away from the NCAA and Madden forum from July to September. I am not gonna lie folks here helped me open my blinders to some of the garbage shoved in our face. Take care.

Nope...They love it...My friends and co-workers are the only reason I buy the current-gen version of Madden. If not for them, I'd only have the PS2 version, but I don't want to be left out of the loop when my people start setting up office tournaments.

Re: Do Your Non-Internet Friends Complain About Madden?

id have to say not only my friends but most people off the internet in general think the game is hurting. the difference being is that they arent like the internet crowd with the "down with ea" mentality but are always like "this game is goin to rock next year" its crazy but thats the response " 08 wasnt that good but i bet next year its going to be awesome"
