Madden PC. 07 vs. 08

I know there are a few of us PC gamers left. I was wondering if anyone has played both the 07 and 08 versions.

I have recently been playing the 07 version and it's light years better than the console version in every aspect. Are the differences/upgrades for the 08 version worth the purchase?

There isn't a whole lot of changes, no. Weapons and wide screen resolution support is about it but I find getting rid of weapons and roles makes for better gameplay anyway.

08 PC is a good game because 07 PC was a good game. If you're looking for huge improvements though you'll be disappointed as 08 is very similar to 07. If you can get it cheaply though it's worth checking out, and if you're interested in running any 09 mod since EA dropped support for the PC chances are it will only work with 08 initially.
