Yea I don't understand peoples reasoning when radio guy is replaced with new commentary it is instantly declared quality work. Bad play by play hinders your ability to be immersed in a virtual world and detracts from the game. That is definitely the case with what they've shown in the clips. While hearing the play-by-play your consciously thinking about how weird it sounds.

2. Radio guy DID get excited.

3. The OP has a point about what we have heard from Mr. Monotone.

4. I like breaking things down into a list for no reason.

Prove it secondly I'm refering to the way Hammond sounds it will be tightend up I'm sure of it. Its the same issue they had when they changed radio anouncers on any year of the franchise Madden or NCAA it always sounds slow.

Seriously...could the stuff we've heard so far be better? Absolutely.

Is it, as maddenps2 asserts, "the worst ever"? Imo the answer is no. More to the point, it's light years better than the radio guy.

while im not saying its the same, hammond does sound like summerall from like madden 95. his commentary seems "too bad" meaning maybe they havent fine tuned it yet. Collinsworth seems fine. I cant see even EA releasing this game with "amateur-ish" commentary. it seemed not 100% implemented in my opinion hopefully they smooth it out. hopefuly........
