I'm not sure if that's funny or depressing. We shouldn't be spending this much energy on uniforms. That should be a given. I admire the passion, but doesn't EA know about Google? Shouldn't someone do the research internally?

Back to the kicking game. Has any last minute adjustment been made to make the kicking more difficult in Madden 09?

Kicking is such a dramatic part of the game. A 45-yarder should have some drama to it.

Re: kicking mechanic

kicking needs revamping. I like the guys idea about no meter and just timing.

i agree 100% on all fronts of your post...honestly i hate to criticize EA too much because I know them guys bust their @sses and also unlike a lot of others I know how difficult programming these games can be since i've taken programming classes BUT with that being said I agree that I don't understand how these things like the helmet logos being way too big ever get to within weeks, literally, of shipping to the public. A whole bunch of people are looking at these games so why did no one say months ago at EA - hey, these logo's are too damned big! How the hell is that???? Boggles my mind honestly..

No your not the only one. I love the kicking mechanic in APF 2K8. No kick is automatic, especially the longer kicks. With practice you'll rarely miss XPs and short kicks BUT you still have to pay attention.

I can nail FGs in madden while in another room talking on the phone. EA should quit wasting my time and give us an "add 3 points to current score" button anytime I cross the 35.

Sigma - the kicking isn't automatic after you've had three 40 ounces of Old English man.

EA should join teams with liquor companies. It could be a bullet on the back of the box.
  • New kicking challenge - can you make the clutch kick with 120 ounces of Beer in you?
