Totally agree and I am excited to play 09. I was pissed to say the least when EA got the exclusive deal since I luved 2K football games. Ian is definitely moving Madden in the right direction and I want to thank him for all his hard work and being a stand up guy coming to the forums.

Anyways, Ian, I know there are a few people on these boards who can appreciate the good with the not so good and sometimes completely irrelevant...

So from part of the community here, THANK YOU.
Very well said.

Whether or not you like Madden, you have to appreciate the candor and interaction. Thanks Ian (and Phil)

Re: Thank You Ian Cummings

I will be the 2,345,126 person to say thank you.

I know some people have said they'll wait for the game but I think its important to be able to separate Ian's contributions here to the final product. Yes he is one of the people directly responsible for the game but taking the time to come here with the frequency he does (I initially thought it'd be the whole once week to field to questions deal, the same way that athletes are usually available to media once a week) is significant.

Game aside the inside look that we get is something amazing and this thread is well deserved.
