I'll echo the thanks for Ian as well. I think, despite a couple lapses in judegement (hindsight 20/20 and all that though

) he's done a fantastic job of communicating with us. I especially appreciate him pushing through the firestorm last night and being here with some insight as to the reasons behind the slider stuff today. Thanks again Ian

Dispite all of the mistakes EA has mad with this game I must admit I am glad and excite that EA has shown interest in what we have to say.

If it falls of deaf ears remains to be seen but either way one can only hope that with our help and the help of those casual sport gamers we can all find that football game we have been looking for.

This is the kind of thread that makes the OS community great. I know there's some concern about the slider situation, but I feel Ian has handled this with a tremendous amount of class. Sure there's a handful of aholes who feel it necessary to make threats and continually rehash the same things over and over, but the vast majority of the long time contributors have no equal on any internet board.
Ian, hang in there, I for one have a really good feeling you'll get this thing figured out and eventually produce one of the best games to ever hit the market.
