I'd like to ask him will he continue to visit and post on OS even after Madden 09 is released, and if he does continue, will he listen to input for Madden 2010 early in the development process. Since EA is the sole provider for NFL football, I think the fans should be heavily involved in building this game. The real football fans, not casuals.

Right now, I'd ask him if we can see some Bears footage!

(Everyone else is going to ask gameplay questions.)

Kinda along the same lines as Sage. Is Ea willing to keep building Madden into the ultimate football game or is that not "fun" enough for the casual crowd?

good one. Im tired of seeing and hearing about how Madden should be easier, from the likes of ign/gamespot and other sites that don't truly understand how football is played.

The game shouldn't be rewarding people who don't know the basics of football.

Re: If you could ask Ian just one question.....

I posted this on the helmet and gang tackling threads and I promise it's the last time i post this (for now) because I don't want to beat the dead (decaying) horse.

Can I please have back the accelerated clock? It is a gameplay thing because football is the one sport when you need to practice clock management. Assuming you are trying to get about 120 plays per game you can play 8-10 minute quarters without the accel clock or 12 min with the accel clock. The difference is in the 4th quarter of the game - if you have a lead you can really bleed the clock down - 4-5 first downs could end the game (yes the CPU has 3 TOs (is there a way to get the CPU to call some timeouts before the 2 minute warning?) and the 2 min warning). With the accelerated clock it is much harder do to that since the 40 second clock is a much smaller percentage of an 8 min quater than a 12 min quarter.

Is there a reason why you have recently started to post on OS and other sites for feedback. Why not start as soon as last years game was over . It would have gave you more time to listen to the fans and make the game better.

Why is something like real hemlets for the pro bowl games hard to put it in a game? It would seem like it would be a quick fix.

Why arent half sacks and assisted tackles tracked? They are ligitimate stat categories. Thats like having a baseball game without ERA or RISP.

Let me just ask this; How come it has not been implimented yet? If you say "This is something we are looking into next year" Ill vomit.

I don't think that's really his gig. He's gameplay, only.....
