Well just to name a few offhand: the random panning camera between plays, the display of the starters, the replays, stats, etc that play inside the playbook screen

Re: Madden 09: On The Spot

The presentation is still "blah" to me. Sure, its an upgrade from the previous years, but its nothing they should be touting around as a "huge" update. I guess when i hear the word "presentation" in a NFL game, im thinking along the lines of a TV Broadcast Presentation or atleast comparable to 2k5 presentation. No doubt its heading in the right direction, and we still havent seen the pre/half/post game shows yet, so who knows.

LOL @ the 1st question "Will Madden be released simultaneously worldwide?"...lol
We've actually seen evidence of stat overlays though. If you watch the Chargers vs. ??? video on IGN, I remember there being an overlay giving an update on Philip River's stats.

Hmmm, I'm still not seeing the new RB running skills/animation nor the ground breaking gang tackles. Just like NCAA, yes the player models are better and all the noise in the stadium, but the gameplay seems the same. Is this a well dressed typical Madden gameplay??

Game looks really fun to me, they've made some very good visual improvements, and the animations are very fluid and life-like. It appears they have some slightly unique QB animations, since Brady was holding the football low after the snap like he does in real life (compared to Manning, who appeared to have a different animation).

Definitely have to disagree here. If you played 08 and trust me i played quite a bit there is a big difference in animation...especially the RB IMO. To each his own though

I played 08 quite a bit. Not seeing a difference animation wise so far per the vids shown. It might be tweaked a bit, but not much. If you can point it out to me. Thanks

Re: Madden 09: On The Spot

If '09' plays anywhere near as good as it looks...I'll be a happy camper.

One thing I really like is how between plays, the camera view swings around from a sideline view to the normal view. Really seems to add to the TV like presentation.
