Re: Community Day Info

So while I have a second I was going to mention that the punt blocking, tried a few more times and didn't get any blocks. This is with punt block vs regular punt and not protect. Guys would get close but come up short. It would take more instances to know if it happens too often or can be exploited.

So I'll have the first impressions writeup done late (talking early am hours) tonight, maybe a few more video clips along with it. I also have all of the player ratings (overalls), team ratings, some campus legend video and notes, a few franchise notes, and a ton dealing with online after a conversation that lasted over an hour just on that area. I'll be getting up many of those things Saturday evening after getting home and Sunday.

jeez, great job on your site PP, I enjoy my daily visit to read your articles etc. Looking forward to your impressions later tonight. Your initial update said this was a 180 from how you felt about madden 08 after community day. Do you still feel that way after completing a full day of gaming?

That guy just started cracking up.

Pasta, I'm not sure how much time you had against the AI but could you touch on a couple of things?

-do they 'seem' to finally have team's tendacies/playstyles in 09. I want to know if each team had a different approach in trying to beat you, both offensively and defensively.

-did you see any instances of the AI trying to go deep against you?

Have you ever seen a defender basically jump on a ball carrier..and use his arms to make his neck snap back violently?
Nope never seen it. But that's what you get when you use motion capture actors who are operating under a different set of understandings and passions than a real football player. I have seen guys come in facemask to facemask though, pick up the ball carrier and drive him in the dirt. Done it myself a few times.

Am I the only one that thinks it's pathetically funny and ironic that there is a glitch were there are 3 security guys on the game play field yet they can't take the time to put officials and chain gains in.

Just a heads up that a few of the guys went back to the hotel. I believe Pastapadre is working on some content right now that will go up tonight.

Seven of the guys are still here in the studio playing Madden and NCAA.
