One of the new features in Madden 09 is something called Madden Moments. Basically the game pulls 32 highlight reel-worthy scenarios from last year's season -- like when the Jaguars beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh during the playoffs, for instance -- and puts you at the helm to relive their outcome. Each scenario has a win condition, like being required to score a touchdown or stop the other team from scoring a single point for the duration of the game. Some of them are in overtime; others start up mid-way through the third quarter.

Edit: imo, the first four that they show are pretty blah. Nothing special about it. Dont know why they have to all be from last year.

I'm liking this. Can't wait to play out some scenarios from last year, especially the Giants/Packers game and the Super Bowl.

This has been in madden since forever...lol..nothing new.

Not sure how much I'll play this mode anyhow, but doesn't it halfway defeat the purpose if you're forced to use this season's rosters to create last season's moments? Maybe not a major misstep but an oversight at least.

I wonder if winning the Dallas - Buffalo game (Romo throws five picks and Dallas wins, lol) is one of these "Madden Moments".

Why not just great NFL games or even, since its Madden, great games that madden originally broadcast, or maddens favorites?
this is why the 'word' meh was invinted.

using this year's rosters completely ruins this feature.
