Madden = going the right direction

Just in the last month we have seen madden go from the ugly duck in gameplay department to a MUCH more realistic approach. This is a huge change from what most of us envisioned madden heading into the future years. With the madden tournament we all feared it would move more in the over the top high scoring form of football and not end up being as realistic as possible.

Well with just a few additions from IAN we have seen this is not the case and we will be moving into the coming years into a much more realistic madden. I myself am so pumped up release day will not come fast enough.

D-line Pancake = Fixed
Eyes in back DB heads = Fixed
Turnovers = Fixed
Real feet planting (no more skating) = Fixed
Better momentum/gang tackling
NO more icons 10-15 yards QB drop back (HUGE FIX)

Many other smaller changes but these seem to be rounding out the excellent gameplay fixes we are going to see in 09. What a terrible next 2-1/2 months coming this is going to be waiting on this wonderful sounding title.

Much RESPECT IAN!

So far so good, but as Winston Wolf says "let's not start ..... just yet."

But yes, right now I am really looking forward to Madden and NCAA. I love the direction and the communication with EA, Ian specifically. Really as a community, could we really ask for more (well, I guess it could have been done earlier, but you can't change the past)?

We all won't know the faults BUT we all can't say we did not know ahead of time about the things that made it and did not make it. So since Ian has stated that ingame saves is NOT in and then you go buy the game and then come here and leave a faulty impression on "I HATE MADDEN: NO INGAME SAVES" I am going to in the arse.

Yes that was kinda my point in the pancake thread, why it hasnt been done before or sooner. It does seem obvious. And despite if we the gamer get anything out of it, it is a brilliant pr/marketing move on their behalf.
Now everyone is buying it again which is what they wanna here.

I didn't know that was in. That's great to hear. So how is it going to work, you drop back more then 10 yards and the icons disapear?

It's only for All Madden/Hardcore Ranked though, which I'm fine with.
