Idea for new kicking

First of all kicking a fieldgoal or extra point isn't easy and isn't a minor part of football. Kickers are talented. Secondly the only reason passing is so simple is because EA decided to make it that way.

I think you could take the ENTIRE OS community and only a hand full of kicks have been missed in madden 20 years. It is flat out babyfied.

It should be a vitial part of the game and something that makes you cringe on the couch like you do when you have to watch the kicker for your team attemp a 40 yarder into the wind on REAL sunday. Kicking is tough bottom line. It should be that way.

I wouldn't disagree that system was hard. I only played the demo a few times and couldn't kick squat. But I really like the NBA/CHoops timing based animations. I would think it would be something doable with the camera close enough to see to properly time it. You've gotta remember this is me who's in love with Fifa's control scheme and want all the realistic physics I can handle. And don't get me started on passing and how outdated that is......

I second that. They should try and do something a little innovative there to push the envelope. But it's tough I'm sure considering you can have up to 5 targets at any given time. I still want to see Backbreaker and this right stick passing.
