Are you joking is the better question. Live is a mediocre effort at best and has been for several years.

I can't speak personally to NHL 08 (not a hockey guy) but my friends have played the hell out of that game and said it's made the biggest steps and been the most fun since Genesis.

The best 360/PS3 sports games that are "next gen" so far for me are:

1. NBA2k
2. The Show (I was this close to buying a PS3 for it)
3. College Hoops

Unfortunately Madden, NCAA and MLB2k just haven't lived up to their potential on the newer systems.

NBA 2k8 by far.

It's the game that kept my sanity in tact, after playing the dreadful Madden '08. It'll hold a place in my heart for that alone.

I'd have to go with either of 2K's basketball games, but I've also been impressed by the improvements with FIFA each year.

Ian, If you even remotely like baseball then do yourself a favor and buy a PS3 and the show. Baseball is my fav sport and fav videogame, I been waiting my whole life for that game. Oh and Madden too

As far as 2K5 goes, great game, but not even close to a 10. I give it an 8.5. I know I will prob get crucified for saying this but I have always liked Madden better overall. Im not talking next-gen madden, I mean last gen.

give me a break. That's why everyone raves about The Show and NHL 08 around here. We're all biased.
