When a game doesn't play like an NFL game and the presentation sucks and it's missing the little details, like chain gang refs on the field etc. that a pretty bad problem.

It's year 4 in next gen, no reason the details have taken a back burner for so long.

Some people are really overdoing it with these requests for the small details, but then I guess we are all different people with different preferences. I myself could not care less about refs or chain gangs, I do not even notice them when I play, GAMEPLAY itself is what matters to me first and foremost.

If I magically found a way to add chain gang, presentation, refs and whatever to madden 06, 07, and 08 next gen would the game still suck? The answer is yes

I'll say what I always say in these "gameplay vs presentation" threads.

and thats EA shouldn't be having to "prioritize"(I hate that fffing word) and at least not to the level we've seen with these NG games. They are freaking EA. Ian's team should have more then enough resources to make great advancements in both areas year in and year out.

Some of the stuff I posted is true and some is just for laughs like the celebrations.

All in All if EA added the little things to the game it will overshadow the small amount of hiccups in the gameplay....
