You know whats sad?....Madden 92 had things which Madden 2009 doesn't

I personally don't see how anyone can be hating on Madden and EA this year from what we have seen and due to their community feedback this year. But there will always be haters which are the same people who don't give anything an honest chance.

As for this thread it's pretty funny and brings back some memories - wow!

I can't wait to see what Madden 2018 will be like.

Because we got fed the same thing last year, and all we got was a game that shouldn't be coming out of a multi-million dollar company.

Um, no. Last year EA wasn't involved in this amount of community involvement and what they are showing us this year is light years ahead of what they showed us before last years game.

At any rate what I was trying to say is that if EA delivers on every single thing that they are hyping and there is a glitch in even 1 feature the haters will jump all over it which is ignorant.

We all want a sick NFL game and the only way to get there is by constructive criticism, not by hating. EA seems to be really stepping up to the plate this year (something I agree that should have been going on all along) but w/o slapping a gift horse in the mouth I'm really confident in this year's game, something which I'll admit I haven't been in any of the 360 iterations.

I won't give EA a pass but what we've seen this year and what was seen last year doesn't compare. The two aren't even close.

Last year it was the community heads pimping the game only to disappoint while this year it's the developers standing behind the product they work so hard on.

You can compare the two, IMHO. If you felt like you were "duped" into buying '08, then you have no one to blame but the man in the mirror.

We're STILL asking for the same implementations regarding gameplay as we were asking LAST gen.
I've purchased every Madden since 2002 (Ps2).....so I would think that I've given it an "honest chance".

It has nothing to do with being "haters".....to me,this is just an excuse given by loyal fans who can't (or won't) understand the frustration of others being let down year in and year out.

I'm sorry...but the "wait till next year" thing has been played out.

Lets not kid ourselves here. There are haters just like there are fanboys. To think otherwise is naive, in my opinion.

It's not about being "naive"....don't you think if the improvements and enhancements were implemented that alot of the so-called "hate" would subside?
I don't care WHO makes any certain game...hell it could be "Jimbob presents NFL football" for all I care.....but if I were to constantly post in "wish list" threads,and these ideas were constantly overlooked,don't you think at some point the frustration would take over?......THAT (imo) is what leads to the so-called "hate".

I don't disagree with anything that you are saying and yes, some people have become frustrated with the series because its gotten stale. But, just like there will be guys that view Madden as not being able to do anything wrong, there will be guys that view Madden as not being able to do anything right. And neither of those two types of people help Madden get any better.
