Should Madden cost $60?

Well, to compensate for infaltion, sub-prime lending, and rising gas prices, I believe all video game prices should be dropped by at least 10 dollars. Thats two gallons right there, and I know many a madden nut who will drive the whole ten dollar in order to purchase said game lol.

It cost just as much to make madden 06 as it did to make 07, 08 and 09. If you want to price games on what the 'deserve' then COD4 and GTA4 should've been $150 each. No one sells a game based on how good they think it will be. On top of that next gen games cost more to make.

If you can't afford $60 get another hobby.

there's no need to call people out like that man that enjoyed the past versions of Madden. I enjoyed '08 for what it was.

thing is, those games are in development for longer than a year. They don't have a "deadline" like sports games.

Since it's released every year, price shouldn't be 60 imo but I still buy it.
