Hey don't sterotype I'm a huge hockey fan and I'm not anal about the equipment in the games like some other people are. I hear ya though there are some analtastic hockey guys when it comes to equipment accuracy.

I thought Riddell is the only manufacturer of NFL helmets? Didn't the OPs helmet have two close parallel horizontal bars on top of the face mask as well.

Hey, if he's going to use a Schutt as an illustration, so am I.

Anyways, yeah, there was a bar in the middle that was beneath the other one. The point was, however, vertical bars over the eye portion of the facemask. I'm pretty confident the facemask in the picture he produced exists, but rather than combing the sites looking for the exact one, I took the one that specifically shot down his point regarding the vertical bars.

Oh well, in the interest of precision... here ya go.



At any rate, I'm pretty sure the players can use whatever facemask they want, so long as the helmet itself is Riddell. I'm not even sure if that's necessarily a requirement.

Maybe they dont have the license from Schutt as you can see it just says Browns on it.

ok but how many players wear that?? That facemask in my 1st post in this thread wasn't meant to be this facemask your showing me. it's meant to be the 1 I posted below in my 1st post.
