Make X Sprint Button on PS3?

Is there anyway in Madden to make the X button on the PS3 the Sprint Button?

I think the default is R2 but I would really like the X to be the Sprint Button. I am used to that on the PC version.

I thought you could change it in the custom config setting place if i'm not wrong.

I'd reccommend keep using the R2 button though. Its actually much more convenient in the long run.

I bet you're right but for me, it's hard to get used to...I mean I've been playing Madden with basically the button config for over ten years...then they go and move my cheese like that. It's tough to get used to.

Im wondering if R2 is pressure sensitive the harder you press it down the faster you run? just wondering i didnt notice it in ncaa09

You can modify the controller however you like but in 08 if you did that you lost all your menus. Not sure if that happens in 09. I hope not. They also had a few other controller configs you could choose from.

R2 is much easier if you plan on using the right stick to juke

Yes it was very hard to do this on 08 with a PS2 cause you had to use your middle finger to hold down X.

u might be able to change it....i like it at R2
