Franchise mode in Madden 2010
Okay, so I think it is pretty safe to say that Madden 2009 was focused on gameplay and fixing the bugs that plagued Madden 2008.
I am one of Madden's and EA's biggest critics, especially since they got the exclusive license. I will say that I think EA is POSSIBLY going about this the right way. The gameplay is the most important, so its smart that they focused their time on fine tuning everything. If everything plays well this year (better physics, more fluid feel, realisitc, NO MAJOR BUGS) I will give EA mad props.
Onto my main question. I have heard some say that EA will more than likely really focus on franchise mode for 2010. Do you think the EA staff in charge of franchise mode will spend as much time interacting with fans as much as Ian/gameplay dept and the animation department have? If so, I think Madden 2010 could be the year we finally get the franchise mode and overall next gen NFL football game us hardcore fans have been waiting for.
This is EA, so I am a little bit skeptical, but they did a great thing this year by interacting with the Madden fans and getting ideas from OUR point of view. Obviously, cant pass final judgement until the game itself is released, but if its as good as EA is pimping it to be, next year should be the year Madden reclaims myself and others as fans.
