Why does the score ticker have to be in the middle like that in 09?

I like the tickers for scores on the bottom like in NCAA 09. it seems that madden 09 has it directly in the middle and at th top and instead of being a straight line is more of a box?!

Yeah, its an eyesore. It makes the defensive secondary look busy and the screen just looks crowded especially when the preplay controls are up. I think they should just do it like the networks...jmo

no matter were they put it. it should fade out and in it dont need to be constant. you think someone would have a clue. i just hope the game is not like ncca football.
i dont get it how can 2ksprts make a game apftk8 for 1 yr next gen development and a 5 yr old next gen series now still cant get the gameplay flow too look as fluid running as that cheap 20 dollar game does they look like slow mo players running on skates. it pisses me off that they bought the rights to nfl and not get it right. seriously i could care less about making the graphics look good i mean come on have you every played the allpro footbal game the replays showing the ball being thrown from qb to recievers is awesome the spirals the trejectories of it look real.

you pop in ncaa and the ball dont spiral or it goes out of qbs hands wierd how can that be dont they test this stuff. sure the game looks great but to be honest i sick of it allready cause it dont play right. there whole next year they need to work on frame rate and animations of the ball carrier running with it.
they need to put on that suit and mo cap actual lineman running as well as running backs and get it fluid like and i hate to keep compairing it but game play for apf2k8 is the best. and im not trolling eather i still think madden can get the job done right.

Yep. I thought I read one of Ian's posts where he said he would look into changing the scoreboard display.

And yet some people actually like it. It won't be a nuisance for me, but I know it will for others.

I can't say enough how badly we need more user control options in Madden... they should be meticulous with the options to the point that I can put the ticker wherever I want. But by default, minimization or disappearance during the play is ideal.
