Where is the "original" Madden? I remember getting it for Christmas and my step brother telling me how "real" it looked!

Madden 2005 is hands down my favorite sports game of all time. period.....I actually bought 2k5 around the same time and ended up playing Madden 05 way more. It's still the ONLY Madden that I ended up playing til' the next one came out..I played that game regularly literally til' 2 days before Madden 06.

Madden 2005 w/ ray lewis on the cover was sick!! It was finally fun to play d with the hit stick feature and the franchise mode was better than ever.

2002 for me. First time I really got into Franchise mode.

Without a doubt it's Madden 2005. They addressed defense that year and really balanced out the game.

I had two excellent football games in the same year and I NEVER have two different sports video games of the same sport in the same year.

Madden 2000. It's not that it was much better than 99 or 2001 (PS1) but I have the best memories associated with it, as me and a friend spent hours every night for weeks playing against each other.
