Madden 2005 was really tremendous. I think I may have played more of 2003 but the 2005 game was really just so well done.

Madden 05 was so good, that the NCAA 06 game afterwards was just
fantastic. It's too bad those companion games of the same calendar
year. There were elements of 05 that were brought into the college
game---this was just after EA Sports acquired the full NFL license.

Shame Next Gen has not seen anything great so far.

Both Madden 05 and 06 were amazing but my favorite ever was Madden 06 for Xbox.

For what Madden has become with the 3D graphics and franchise and whatnot, 2002 was more amazing than any of the others to me. That said, 93 will always be my favorite. Popping that into my Genesis changed the course of how I would spend my free time in the fall/winter from that day forth.

really i loved 05-06 and 07 the same. all great games than enhanced each year. (im speaking of the ps3 versions). but i chose 07 because it was pretty much a "better" 05. i had so much with all of them though.

my Raiders were the class of the AFC. with a menacing defense and Lamont Jordan and Moss leading the offense i had a couple of undefeated seasons! (take that Patriots) one of the funniest things that happen was in my first franchise season of 07. my brother beat me in AFC CHAMPIONSHIP with his Steelers. i was so pissed off! we always play co-op franchise and i always beat him when we meet up. but this game Moss was dropping everything i threw at him. he dropped 2 touchdown passes and Willie Parker shredded my D as i lost the game. i was so mad i dropped the controller and played dead for 20 minutes! my friends almost called 911. lol

The Cone was a great tool to help curb cheesers until they reworked the OL...but they caved in
