After the problems/major bugs with NCAA 09, is anyone else a little concerned about Madden this year? I know they have different dev teams and Ian has been great, but there was a lot of positive buzz about NCAA leading up to its release and look what happened. I just don't want to be let down again in 3 weeks. I haven't been this hyped for a sports game in a LONG time, and I hope it's worth the wait.

I expect problems until they prove they can deliver a near problem-free game. But worried is not the word I would use since I'm likely to hold out for '10.

actually no, I am not worried at all. But I don't worry about video games and their potential problems.

It's hard not to be concerned for bugs given how NCAA was released, and Madden last year. There is optimism and then expecting no problems, which would be blind optimism IMO. It's not that I'm the opposite to that and expecting serious issues, but if there are, I wouldn't at all be shocked.

No concern at all. Both games are made entirely by two different teams. NCAA went on record that it would be less sim than Madden. What issues that were in NCAA should already be fixed for Madden since they had a full month to work it out. I have been watching the videos and listening to EA's Madden team and I really do think we will have a great Pro football game this year.

Will there be bugs / issues.....???......Sure we know that but for the most part, none should be fatal gamebreakers.

Assuming EA found them by themselves, which is questionable. Madden went gold well before user reports of bugs from NCAA came in.

I hope there are no gamebreakers, which includes franchise mode issues, but as I said, it would be a stretch to say I'd be surprised if there were any.

I just want to be able to start a franchise the first day I buy this game and not have to worry about it being broken a couple season's into it...

And then getting it patched and finding out that the patch is not compatible with my saved franchise and I have to start over again anyway...
