I can see now that they were incorrect with there statements. All I want to see is the camera zoom out to compensate the routes of the offensive players. That is all, then I will be happy. I always played with the Madden long-view in past maddens.

I enjoy hawking the field with defensive backs and being able to set-up plays such as screens effectively. I can't do that with the current camera set-up.

I'll probably have to buy Madden PS2/Xbox cause as you can see the camera angle breaks many plays and will lead to interceptions on offense and missed defensive knockdowns/interceptions on defense.

I had no problem finding my receivers while playing the demo.

All you have to do is look at the pictures to understand, it isn't very complicated at all and is obvious to Ian, the developer of Madden.

EA is doing this too all their games, catering to the HD-Widescreen folks. I really have a hard time reading the text and this takes loads of pleasure away from the franchise mode

There is nothing wrong with catering to HD-Widscreen people, but a large number of people still have 4:3 sdtvs or hdtvs. All they have to do is add cameras configured for this standard or make the camera options more user friendly as seen in other sports titles. In the current state the camera system is in others and myself can't see the receivers as the run many routes. Madden 09 may be superior to Last-Gen it's a shame I probably will be hesitant to because I am an *user* control player. I can't to that blindly.
