whats with the WR's?

I've been playing Next Gen Maddens for a good while now. And Madden 08 is a pretty decent game but I've noticed a recurring problem that I personally have with the game.

The WR's cant do ish on the run....

Maybe thats an exagerration, a bit of hyperbole, but I've noticed that if I have Santana Moss on a short route its hard to get YAC with him because the juke isnt as effective for him as a RB.

Now Im not saying he should be juking like Barry Sanders, but at least make him an effective elusive player.

He can usually run right by guys with his speed but what about when a guy is squared up and ready to hit?

Well that issue has been remedied in NCAA 09 so I hope that Madden got the same love. I've been able to pull some sweet moves with my wideout on screen plays, hopefully Madden's the same. But I agree with you, they've always had that problem.

Yeah its a non issue for ncaa 09. I have made some sweet runs with Darrius Heyward Bey that were very satisfying. Hopefully it isn't just a product of wide open gameplay and it is incorporated into the madden engine for this year. I would love to go crazy with anquan boldin or Hines Ward after the catch.
