Glad to hear this because I really like the hit stick. A little more risk/reward would be good so it's not overused.

Also, maybe there should be specific sets of animations available for different types of players, maybe based on weapons... That way if a small CB uses the hit stick it doesn't look the same as when a big LB does.

Re: Scrap the hit stick?

I love the hit stick. If anything needs to be changed it's the offensive players ability to do something about it. Especially the low hit. Subtle sidesteps or a stiff arm that pushes down on the low tackler would be really nice. Just trigger more animations and make the head over heels animation trigger less often.

Re: Scrap the hit stick?

up - high hit (strenth and animation depending on power and tackling)
down - low hit (strenth and animation depending on power and tacking)
left - reach and wrap (animation depneding on tackling ability)
right - reach and wrap (animation depending on tacking ability)

angles if you want to encompass extra animations.

Currently I don't think the likelihood of success goes up or down based on skill level, and this would be a good way to keep the default skill level a hit-stick fest but on All-Madden make it much riskier but maybe give more reward for getting it right (i.e. more fumbles since it's now harder to do?)
please fix the hitstick and how it suctions the runner into the hitstick defender

Re: Scrap the hit stick?

the more you tone down the hit stick, the bigger of a deal it will be when someone ACTUALLY DOES get laid out. something to think about

Re: Scrap the hit stick?

I just can't stand the animation when a ball carrier gets 'hit-sticked' and goes flat on his back like he was hit by a bazooka.
