The Hit Stick provides that.
truth,

there is nothing better than laying the game changing big hit on friends and family; and then bragging about it, forcing them to want to play another game.

Co-Sign. I just think they should change it to the system in my other post.

Yeah this is how I feel, but many seem to want every game to play out like a highlight package.

Tip dunks were pretty rare in CHOOPS 2k8, so when you saw one it was very sweet.

In football videogames, guys getting detonated has become yawn inducing.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

You must not watch the NBA much...lol.

Jokes aside, it's a good point. I think tuning it to be more "special" would be a much better option than scrapping it. overall it's a good feature, IMO.

Re: Scrap the hit stick?

Hey the hitstick is a nice addition but why not use it to it's full potential? I have 2 ideas on how to improve the hitstick. First whould to be base the tackle direction based on which direction you press the hitstick. My other idea which could be like the picture i will post below, or a less complex "high", "low", "left", and "right" body tackle.

You guys all know how fight night control is much cooler using the analong stick to more advanced levels why not madden.

By no means do i want to make madden like nfl blitz or anything like that, but it whould be nice if you could decide how to tackle a player based on your direction and the type of back you are trying to take down.

Making the wrong type of tackle or miss timing your tackle whould result in a missed tackle. The abilty to make more spectacular tackles whould be based on your agility and your tackle rating.
