You have to take it for what it is...Madden has never been an NFL sim, plain and simple. It has always been easy for the casual gamer to pick it up, dash 10 to 15 yards behind the line of scrimmage and then just wait for a receiver to get open and let rip with the qb's strong arm. With all that said, they are the only game in town so will be getting a rental from me.

For the record, I bought Madden for the previous two years.

Its not that i love madden. but honestly is everyone a ***** on this board. I would understand if the game came out and it sucked. I would be the last person to stick up for it but lets give it a chance.

I agree with you....But I'm going to play devil's advocate here and say that the review seems to point out issues that we're familiar with. IF (and that's a big IF) those issues are actually present in Madden as well, I can fully comprehend the reason for that guys discontent. Don't you agree?

I do agree to a point. I agree with the fact that everybody was unhappy with 06, 07 and 08. But I could have wrote a review that was totally biased and i think everyone would have believed me. I'm not saying the review was biased i'm just stating the fact that everyone jumps on the 'i hate the game ship' way too early.
