The Madden producers know exactly what they are doing. The real reason(in my humble opinion) they are on these boards is they are under pressure to do something different, change their culture, because the Madden series is in decline.
Us franchise guys have been ignored...PC guys ignored...online lag...even basic stuff like correct uniforms...different ones messed up EVERY year. Look at the history, it has been a series of disappointments.
I know this sounds crazy, but I look forward to Madden EVERY year, but EVERY year I play it less and less...last year, maybe 10 hours. Good luck to us gamers in the future, but i am sorry Madden sucks.
