I'm still sticking with the PS2 Version of Madden.

I agree that you should just stick with a previous edition of Madden, and do some roster changes for yourself? Is it really worth $40 or $50 (I don't remember what new PS2 games go for) to play the same identical game that's been coming out for four years now?

Thats only about $10 bucks cheaper than what they were back in the heyday of the ps2. I feel like they should be about $20 bucks now.

I haven't bought a PS3 or 360 yet, and don't think I will for another year, probably. We went Wii (I have a 10-year old Pokemon maniac, and the kids come first), and since NCAA 09 for the Wii is pretty much a critical bust, I'm anticpating Madden 09 Wii will be, too.

Passed on Madden '08 last year, but will get '09, and I'm kind of psyched. Super Sim, franchise points--I just hope the punting return bug is fixed from '07. Hated that.

How about if all of us dedicated PS2/Xbox users banded together to figure out AI, penalty, and injury sliders? We will be a decided minority, but we should owe it to each other to get a great set of sliders and tips for maxing out our PS2/Xbox Madden experience.

It's actually a well-known fact that it's coming out for the original xbox this year:

Not to mention that gaming magazines (at least one that I know of) have reviewed the original xbox version along with the 360 version. Trust me, it'll be out for the original xbox this year. And thank goodness.

Because there's nothing new on the PS2/Xbox versions...

You might as well keep playing Madden 08 and use custom rosters from the internet.

Save your money if you're not buying the current-gen version.

I didn't know they were making a XBOX version, hmm I might just go ahead and get that version. How was the 2008 version on XBOX??
